On Point Electrical was engaged to undertake the general electrical installation, lighting design in collaboration with award winning company Dark Lighting Design all the way from London, H-vac design and construction, home automation and installation and home audio visual and all communications.

On Point Electrical had to work closely with the lighting design company with all fitting and futures spipments, installation and most importantly the correct operations and placement of such fittings to its specific design that was supplied, we worked in conjunction with the builder and the plaster to ensure correct installation of all the reaccessed 'pre rough-in' bodies to maintain a seem less look on the ceiling through out the whole house, there was not one external surface mounted fitting installed, all lighting was either installed in plaster troweled fittings mounted into the ceiling or under feature niches, steps or shelfs.

Stemming from the the early design stage of the project right to completion On Point Electrical worked extremely close with Kyle Zanetto the client.

Finding a lighting design compony that held the same values we did and having a 'thinking outside of the box' mentality to really do something different and unique, after multiple zoom meeting with multiple different companies we come across dark lighting design who were based out of London, we knew this would pose its challenges not only because they were on the other side of the earth but to ensure that all lighting fittings and futures that were supplied by the lighting company were compliant with Australians code of practice and to ensure all rules and regulations were met under AS3000 prior to purchasing and shipping.

The design stage of the job commenced 18 months prior to the start of construction ensuring all light fittings and futures were shipped down and onsite so a greater understanding of what was being installed was met, and a game plan was created with the builder and plaster involved and all involved knew pre construction what was required and how to install all components correctly.

On Point Electrical’s custom programmable recessed LED hallway strip

On Point Electrical's custom programmable 35m long recessed Enttec LED hallway strip installed in an award winning project designed and constructed by Zanetto builders, this immaculate 35m long hallway radiated sophistication and showcased the craftsmanship of 2.5 kilometres of Australian black butt shiplap timber that was used to create a warm yet sleek flow throughout the whole hallway stemming from the front door all the way to the back door. To complement this beautiful timber and statement piece we needed to think outside the box and really go above and beyond to tie the lighting into this space, we installed 35m of 12V 60LED Pixels/Pm RGBW strip with 20 controllable zones concealed in a flush mount plaster troweled in extrusion so the ceiling looked untouched yet provided the perfect amount of ambience needed to illuminate and also showcase this stunning feature within the heart of the home.
